| Is there a minimum order? The online ordering system will prompt you if the order does not meet the minimum. Minimums orders from 10 for box lunches, 15 for most deli selections, 15 for hot meals and 100 for picnic, luaus and weddings. Specials event and holiday minimums are determined per event. Weekends and evening delivery minimums may apply. |
| What is included with my order? Corporate Chef always includes all disposable plates, utensils, napkins, use of chafing dishes and serving utensils. If you have ordered drinks we include ice, cups, sugar, sweetener, lemons (with iced tea), creamer with coffee If you require disposable tablecloths, please ask- they can be added for a nominal charge. We also have an extensive line of china, flatware and linen rentals available |
| Where does Corporate Chef deliver? Our delivery area for day to day catering includes the Greater Irving, Las Colinas, Grapevine, Coppell, Southlake, DFW Airport and surrounding areas in Dallas and Fort Worth. We travel the entire DFW Metroplex for special events. Don't hesitate to ask if we deliver to your area! |
| What should I expect the day of
delivery? Your selections will be delivered by a uniformed attendant within your 45 minute delivery window. Everything you should need to serve and enjoy your meal is included. Upon arrival, our attendant will deliver the meal to a designated location, unwrap the food as appropriate, light Sterno if applicable, confirm accuracy of food and equipment delivery, obtain recipients signature--then leave as quietly as they arrived. We will return the same day to retrieve all equipment, or should you desire a next day equipment pick-up, just let us know. |
| Is there a delivery fee? Delivery fees are determined by the zip code of your delivery location. The online ordering system will let you know your delivery fee during the ordering process or just give us a call. |
| Is there an added gratuity? Gratuity for the delivery attendant for day to day catering orders is left to your discretion. On served and special events there may be added 18% gratuity that will noted on your proposal, which may include buffet decor and servers, if requested. |
| When should I place my order? While we request 24 hour notice for most catering orders, we do our best to cater to your last minute needs. Our online ordering system will prompt you to call us directly if time is short. We always do our best to accommodate our customers! Weekend orders must be placed by 12pm Friday. |
| What about cancellations? All our food is prepared to order, therefore last minute cancellations may be subject to a charge of the percentage of your total. Please call us directly with cancellations. |
| Do you offer drop off service with
disposable caterware? Absolutely. If you have a hot meal but would prefer everything to be disposable, just ask. Otherwise, most hot meals are delivered in chafing dishes that will keep food hot for up to 2 hours. |
| What forms of payment do you accept? Our online ordering service accepts all major credit cards in order to keep your ordering process as simple as possible. You receive your receipt immediately and you can keep track of past orders and billing. If you call or fax your order in, we can gladly accept corporate checks and cash in addition to major credit cards. |
| Can Corporate Chef provide waitstaff? Yes. We can provide experienced uniformed servers, carvers and certified bartenders for your event. All the members of our culinary team are certified by The National Restaurant Association's "ServSafe" sanitation program. Our bartenders are TABC certified. We are licensed to cater by the city of Dallas and the board of health. |
